UPGRADE YOUR OIL TANK BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

       

On Long Island many tanks are over 30 years old, more and more attorneys recommend changing this before buying/selling a home to avoid problems with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. In other words, abandon your tank BEFORE it leaks and caused harm to the environment.

We can provide new installations or simply abandon the existing tank if you are converting to gas. We file all necessary paperwork and permit applications with the county, town or municipality that you live in. A certificate of completion is provided by our company.

ABANDONMENT PROCESS:
Under ground tank or UST: Remove any existing oil and properly dispose. Expose and cut open top of tank, remove all sludge and properly dispose. Cap off existing connection to home. Fill with sand product. Back fill.

ABOVE GROUP OR IN BASEMENT:
Remove any existing oil and properly dispose. Either remove whole or cut tank; depending on application of removal. Cap off existing connection to home.
